Comet C/2020 M3 (ATLAS)
Comet C/2020 M3 (ATLAS) was discovered in summer 2020 by the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System. On 19th of November 2020, the comet was in front of Sh2-264 in constellation Orion.
To create the final image, 2 hours of luminace images ( 40 x 3min) have been combined with 2h RGB (36 x 3min) data.

Hello, my name is Martin Rusterholz. I’m a Swiss amateur astrophotographer living near Zurich, the biggest town in Switzerland. My interest in astronomy started when I was 16. At that time, I built my first Newtonian telescope and mount. I studied physics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) which was the only study including at least some aspects of astronomy and astrophysics.
